Devonshire Avenue Baptist Church is a small evangelical church in membership with the Baptist Union. We are situated in a residential area of Southsea just a mile from the beach.
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the scriptures of truth - the infallible and
fully inspired word of God - the supreme and final authority in all
matters of faith and conduct.
Mankind
We believe that because of sin men and women are incapable of
saving themselves. Only an act of divine mercy and grace can save
them. This alone comes from the Lord Jesus Christ.
